About “Travel Trading Cards: 100 Views of Iwate”

A trading card collection celebrating the scenic landscapes, famous landmarks, traditional festivals, and historic architecture of Iwate Prefecture, all captured through the lenses of Iwate Nippo’s own reporters and photographers. The full set features 26 cards showcasing Iwate’s most iconic scenes — including Kaiun Bridge with Mount Iwate, Chuson-ji Temple, Jodogahama Beach, and the Sanriku Railway lined with cherry blossoms.

Each card includes a QR code on the back. Scanning it brings up location details, sightseeing highlights, and access information on our special website. The site is available in four languages — Japanese, English, Korean, and Traditional Chinese — making it a handy companion for international travelers and a helpful guide when hosting visitors from abroad.

Please note that the cards themselves feature Japanese text only, but the multilingual website ensures everyone can fully enjoy the experience.

Collect them, discover them, and set out on your own journey — a new way to experience the beauty of Iwate.

In addition to our headquarters, the cards are available at retailers near the festival venue and at locations throughout the prefecture. See the list below for all sales points.
