“Travel Trading Cards: 100 Views of Iwate” is available at retail stores throughout Iwate Prefecture. Each pack costs 500 yen (tax included) and contains five randomly assorted cards.
- Central Iwate area — Morioka, Hachimantai, Shizukuishi and more
- Southern Iwate area — Hanamaki, Kitakami, Tono, Hiraizumi and more
- Northern Iwate area — Kuji, Ninohe and more
- Coastal area — Miyako, Kamaishi, Ofunato and more

The thrill of opening a pack is one of the timeless joys of trading cards. The front of each card showcases the seasonal beauty of Iwate, while the back offers a concise introduction to the location’s history and highlights. Card text is written in Japanese — for multilingual content, see Step 03.
Cards are organized into five categories: Nature & Scenery / Festivals & Culture / Architecture / Historic Sites / Experiences. They also come in three rarity levels — ★ Normal, ★★ Rare, and ★★★ Super Rare — making collecting all the more rewarding.
