What is “Travel Trading Cards 100 Views of Iwate”?
It is a sightseeing-themed trading card series featuring scenic spots, festivals, architecture, and cultural highlights from Iwate Prefecture. You can enjoy collecting the cards while learning about Iwate and using them as inspiration for future trips.
How many cards are included in one pack?
Each pack contains five cards. The cards are randomly included.
How much does one pack cost?
The in-store price is 500 yen per pack, including tax. The online store price differs from the in-store price because it includes shipping and packing costs.
How many card designs are available?
Vol.1 includes 26 different card designs featuring nature, festivals, architecture, history, and travel spots in Iwate Prefecture.
Can I choose which card designs I receive?
No. The cards are randomly included, so you may receive duplicate cards.
Will I complete the full set if I buy several packs?
Because the cards are randomly included, buying multiple packs does not guarantee that you will complete the full set. Please enjoy the surprise of opening each pack and trading cards with friends or family.

The cards are available at selected shops, sightseeing facilities, and other locations in Iwate Prefecture. Please check the purchase information on the special website for sales locations.
Can I buy the cards online?
Yes. The cards are available through the Iwate Nippo online store. The online price includes shipping and packing costs.
Can I check stock availability at each shop?
Stock availability may vary by shop. Before visiting, please check the sales location information or contact the relevant shop.
Can I reserve cards or ask a shop to hold them for me?
Reservation and hold policies may differ by shop. Please contact the shop directly if you would like to confirm.
QR codes and My Collection
What can I see by scanning the QR code on the back of a card?
You can view information related to the card, such as highlights, trivia, access information, and details about the featured spot. Each card page helps you explore Iwate more deeply.
Will scanning the QR code add the card to My Collection?
Yes. When you access the card’s dedicated page through the applicable QR code, the card will be added to My Collection on your smartphone.
Do I need to install an app to use My Collection?
No app installation is required. You can use My Collection through your smartphone browser.
A card is not showing in My Collection. What should I do?
If the browser used to scan the QR code is different from the browser you normally use to open My Collection, the record may be stored separately. For example, opening the QR code in Safari from the camera app and viewing My Collection in Chrome may be treated as separate browser records on the same smartphone. Please try opening the page again in your usual browser or check your smartphone’s default browser settings.
Can I transfer My Collection when I change phones?
My Collection records are stored on the device and browser you use. They are not automatically shared with another device or another browser.
What happens if I delete my browser history or data?
Deleting browser data may also delete your My Collection records. Please be careful before clearing browser data.

Can I read the information in languages other than Japanese?
Yes. The special website supports multiple languages, so visitors from outside Japan can also enjoy the card information and travel details.
Is the text printed on the cards multilingual?
The text printed on the cards is in Japanese. To read the information in another language, please access the multilingual page using the QR code on the back of the card.
The translated text looks slightly different from the Japanese version. Why?
The multilingual pages are written with readability in mind, so expressions may differ slightly depending on the language. Some wording may not match the Japanese text exactly.

Can I actually visit the places shown on the cards?
Many of the featured spots can be visited. However, what you can enjoy may vary depending on the season, weather, facility hours, and transportation conditions. Before visiting, please check the latest information from each facility, municipality, tourism association, or other official source.
When can I see the same scenery as the card photo?
Some cards and dedicated pages include an approximate shooting season. For natural scenery, flowers, autumn leaves, and snowy landscapes, the best viewing period may vary from year to year. Please also check the latest information on blooming, foliage, road conditions, and weather.
Is access or parking information available?
Depending on the spot, the dedicated card page may include access information, maps, and nearby details. When planning a visit, please also check the official information for that location.
