Cards & Buying

What to know before you buy

What is Travel Trading Cards: 100 Views of Iwate?

It is a collectible travel card series featuring scenic views, landmarks, festivals and architecture across Iwate. Discover the region’s landscapes and culture as you collect, and find inspiration for your next trip.

Vol. 1 includes 26 different cards. Explore the full series in the Card List.

How many cards are in a pack, and how much does it cost?

Each pack contains 5 randomly selected cards and costs ¥500, including tax, in stores.

Online listings include shipping and packaging in their prices. Please check each product page for current prices and pack options.

Can I choose which cards I buy?

No. Cards are randomly packed, so you cannot choose specific designs. You may receive duplicates, and buying several packs does not guarantee a complete set. Part of the fun is discovering which views are inside.

What do the rarity ratings mean?

They indicate how rare a card is. There are three rarity tiers: ★, ★★ and ★★★. Look out for rare cards as you collect your favorite views.

Where can I buy the cards?

Cards are available at participating shops, visitor attractions and other locations in Iwate. See Where to Buy for store locations and details.

Can I buy the cards online?

Yes. Cards are available from the Iwate Nippo online store, with shipping and packaging included in the listed prices.

Please check the product page for current prices, pack options, availability and delivery details.

Can I check store stock or reserve a pack?

Stock varies by store. Reservations and requests to hold items also depend on the store. Please contact your preferred retailer directly before visiting.

Can I see the same collection on another device or browser?

Even on the same phone, browsers such as Safari and Chrome keep separate records. Use the same browser when opening QR code links and viewing your collection.

What should I do when I get a new phone?

My Collection does not transfer to a new device automatically. Scan the QR codes on the cards you own again, using your new phone, and open the pages in your usual browser to add the cards.
